Father's Day

For Father's Day this year we hung out with my Dad on Saturday for dinner and we all pitched in and gave him a Nook. He LOVED it and I have seen him using it constantly since he got it. On Sunday, we went to Bill's Catfish with Eric's family and since his Dad and Uncle Joel were in town it was extra special. Here is a group picture that we took after lunch at Granny and Papa's.

My Birthday Dinner

This year I turned 31!! Wow has time flown since I had the kiddos! Since Hunter and I have birthday's only 1 day apart he normally gets all of the attention! This year the girls and I decided to have a fun Mommy dinner in celebration of my special day and boy was it fun! We all met at On The Border for margaritas and yummy food!

What a bonus for me this year since Kirsten was in town visiting! It was so much fun having her around for a few weeks!

Kelby's Graduation

On Sunday afternoon we had Connie's Pre-School Graduation and yearly awards at our house. We LOVE Mrs. Connie and are so blessed to have her in our lives!

Jackson, Meghan and Kelby are all starting kindergarten in the fall!

I am glad we have the rest of the summer to prepare for Kelby's next adventure into school!

Hunter Turns 4!!!

On Saturday afternoon we had Hunter's 4th Birthday party at our house in the backyard. We had the giant slide blown up, the pool clean and Hunter and Kelby helped me hang the decorations! It was so much fun and thanks to all of our wonderful family and friends who came to celebrate!

Here is the cute invite I made for him!Connie has been making our cakes for several years and never dissappoints! This one was so cute and she used a new white chocolate icing and boy was it yummy!

He was most excited about the pinata at his party and then really enjoyed busting it open and getting all of the candy!

About to open all of his presents! He got some much needed clothes, toys, lots of money and gift cards, a real harmonica from Uncle JJ and Chelsea and a remote control speed boat from us. He was one happy boy!

I cannot do this post without mentioning the not-so-fun parts of the party :(

Hayden busted open his chin and had to go to the clinic to get it glued, Eric smashed Hunter's toe with the chair and busted the end of it open causing lots of blood and lots of tears, and last but not least, Addison and Baeleigh went under and had to be rescued from the pool!

I was so stressed when the party was over but was glad that everyone was ok and nothing was serious!

Splash Park Fun

I ended up taking off of work today so that we could finish some yard for Hunter's party and so that I could go with Connie to the splash park in Iowa Park. We met Amber and Jodi at Ken's Pizza for lunch and then headed over there to play. It was such a fun day and the kids loved playing in the big pool so much this year!
