Today at lunch with Thana, we were sitting at Cotton Patch and I saw one of Jonathan's friends. He came over and we chatted for a few minutes about him, Isaiah, the new headstone and other random stuff.
When Johnathan was here, we never really knew his friends. It wasn't until after the funeral that we got to sit down and get to know a whole other side of him. His friends came over to Dad's and sat with us for hours. Jonathan had lots of really close friends but always thought that we wouldn't approve of them.
This boy I visited with today has been so sweet to us. A very nice guy and he was a good friend to Jonathan.
It was a nice and unexpected conversation to occur at lunch. It's always nice to talk about loved ones you miss even if it's at a random place.
