HH100 Trail Run

This year I challenged all of my girls to run in the Hotter'n Hell Trail run with me! It is a 10K and we had so much fun! I did not train one bit as I have been busy with Insanity and boy did I struggle! I did finish but walked the whole last 2 miles of it. Oh well, there is always next year! The others however, did awesome! So proud of them and hard they worked to make good time!

This course is such a fun challenge and next year I will be much more prepared!

Hotter'n Hell 100 Rest Stop

The kids and I worked the Wells Fargo rest stop on the 25 mile course again like we always do. The only bad part about this every year is we have to be there around 5:30am! This year I was in charge of taking all of the pictures of the riders coming in so I took hundreds of pictures!!

School Days

First Day of Kindergarten

Monday, August 22nd, was Kelby's first day of Kindergarten! She was a little nervous but we both did so good! Neither of us cried at school and she had so much fun her first day!

 Their was play-do on all of the tables so when I left she was all smiles! I told her I had to get back to work and she looked up at me and said "Mom, I didn't even cry today!" So proud of her and how far she has come out of her shell!!!

Club Swimming

On Sunday afternoon we decided to head up to the Country Club with Amber and Thana for a swim before our big day of school on Monday! The kids love going up there because they have 2 slides, a diving board and a kiddie area!

Sleepy Kids

After the shower, Amber, David and Chelsea came over for some hamburgers and swimming! By the time the evening was over, the kids were passed out of the couch watching a movie!

Chelsea's Wedding Shower

The day for Chelsea's Bridal shower finally came and it was such a fun day! Lots of people came to shower them with gifts and share their best wishes for them!

 Chelsea's friend and bridesmaid, Lyndsay H, made this for her and it was so cute!

 Brittany's Mom drove all the way to OKC to get this cake for the shower! It was sooo yummy!

Last Official Day at Connies :(

Friday, August 19th was Kelby's last official day at Connies house :( It was a sad day for me but a fun day for her. Connie loaded them all up and headed down to the kids round up for the Ranch Round-Up. The kids all got free cowboys hats! They then headed to Taco Bell had lunch and later that afternoon they went to the mall to see Spy Kids 3D. They had such a fun day and all of the big kids are ready to start Kindergarten on Monday! Where have the past 5 years gone?

Ranch Round-Up

Friday morning, Connie took all of the kids down to MPEC for the Kids part of the Ranch Round-Up. They had so much fun and thanks to Amber, I got to see all of the pictures!
