This year was the 25th Anniversary of FallsFest! We all worked so hard to make this a year to remember and to "blow it out of the water" as we like to say! We had an AMAZING weekend and despite the rain, had record breaking numbers!
Saturday Night entertainment was Creedence Clearwater Revisited!!!
The Snow Hill was a new ride that we brought in and it was sooo much fun!
Hunter did not like it!
The Core loved it!
Some of the cute rain boots on our committee!
Friday night Entertainment was Cross Canadian Ragweed!
Sarah got her hat signed!!
Thursday night was the Sponsor Appreciation Dinner
Family Photo!
Without all of these wonderful people, I could not have directed FallsFest for 2 years and been able to do so much! I am so blessed to have the best family around me!
Past FallsFest Directors
2010 Committee
2010 FallsFest Co-Directors (Sarah and I)
The fabulous Core!! (Stella, Leslie, Sarah, Debbie and I)
On Wednesday, Roby told Sarah and I to come out and be "test dumies" for the zip line! It was sooo awesome!
On the Friday of FallsFest, Granny picked up the kids for me and they stayed the night with her. Before they headed home, they stopped by Station 8 to see Uncle JJ. They had such a good time!
The 3rd weekend in September is always Rodeo time in Clay County! We always look forward to Pioneer Reunion as it means that Fall is almost here and cool nights are around the corner. The kids love wearing their boots and this year their new hats!
Family photo! Too bad Hunter was being a turd!
Kelby took this picture of Papa.
Hunter and Eric went down to participate in the calf scramble!
They had so much fun as this was the first year that one of them would go down there!
A bonus for the night was that I got to see Sarah!
On Saturday morning we all got up and did the Alzheimer's Memory Walk. I can't remember who Diana was walking for but I was in memory of my Grandma Joe and Sammy was in memory of Kay (Eric's Granny). It was so hot but was fun to be out there in their memory and helping to raise money for more research.
In prepration for Pioneer Reunion, Granny and Papa bought Hunter some new boots! The first pair were too big (I told them the wrong size) so we all loaded up and took a trip to Atwoods to exchange them and let him pick out the perfect pair. While we were there, he found a cute hat and he looked so handsome! This black one was $30 and the palm leaf one was $12.99 so he got the palm leaf!
Kelby wanted a hat too and they didn't have one at Atwoods so we took another trip across town to the Browse Shop. She found this super cute one and had to do some posing for Granny!
Both were happy with their new rodeo gear! Thanks Granny and Papaw!
